Relax and sparkle!

Relax and sparkle!

I tried out some new techniques using Turquoise Perfect Pearls today to make my background papers etc. I’ve finally managed to learn how to watermark images thanks to the great MSErs!

The snowflake background was stamped with Versamark cyan and then I added Perfect Pearls mixed with clear embossing powder and heated it. I dry embossed the grid onto the other papers, put ink on the raised areas and heat embossed again. Inked the central strip and edges of the circle directly and heat embossed. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and frame in the same way.

I coloured the digi with promarkers. I sponged the background with cyan ink and added Perfect Pearls. I sponged the penguin with embossing ink and used white Perfect Pearls.

Chilled blues and sparkle

Chilled blues and sparkle

I thought I’d have a go at colouring my penguin digi in non-traditional colours to go with papers I made inspired by the song ‘Let It Snow’.

The photo isn’t great but my camera ran out of battery after taking this so it will have to do! The let it snow papers have been sprayed with sparkle. They are also on foam pads as is the penguin so this isn’t as flat as it looks!! The blue circle was sprinkled with gitter and flowersoft. The penguin was coloured with Promarkers and I used stickles on the snow.

Snowy and fluffy!

Snowy and fluffy!

Not sure what I think of this attempt!

Not the best photo! I coloured my penguin digi with Promarkers and used flower soft to get fluffy feathers! I also used flowersoft and coloured it with glitter to make my coloured snow, colouring behind it with Promarkers and using stickles for the falling snow. The digi papers were made on computer with Craft Artist. I used my snowflake punches and a LOTV Let it snow sentiment.
