For now here are some photos!
When working in monochrome I like to add texture so I used a red stretch velvet with stretch lace trim. This was made for the Creative Loops monochrome challenge.
A comfy nook for art, craft and seeking simplicity.

This card was created for the Creative Loops monochrome challenge– using shades of blue with highlights of white.
I added some detailing using gel pens. I recycled a small plastic washer from an electric toothbrush and painted it silver using a my silver Promarker. I used glossy accents inside it to give a glass effect.
I’d like to enter the following challenges
Crafty Girls Corner- use yellow
Moo-mania and more- Masculine cards

I plan my rough composition on paper first. I started by drawing the outlines with Derwent Inktense Blocks
Inktense blocks. I then applied layers of inktense (blocks for washes of colour and pencils
for detail) painting on some Golden Gac 900 Fabric Painting Medium
between each layer to set the inktense (it actually turns it to ink).
I think Inktense are becoming my favourite medium as I love the variety of ways you can use them. I also love being able to use them on some differemt surfaces. I love painting bags as shopping bag totes are an essential item and I love being able to have personalised one of a kind bags which take my art outside the 4 walls of houses and exhibitions!

I’m entering the Creative Loops challenge- flowers
Today I’ve got lots of inspiration for our March challenge- flowers.
